Cabling for high performances

Cabling
Cabling

Lebronze alloys offers a wide range of cabling materials for medical, aerospace and automotive applications.

Cable shielding

Lebronze alloys is able to provide alloys with high corrosion resistance and ideal mechanical properties. These properties allow our alloys to have applications in marine environment: our UC500 alloy is used in particular to create mechanical shielding to make all types of cables in Oil and Gas and Marine more resistant to sea water. This same alloy is also strictly non-magnetic: it is therefore perfectly adapted to electromagnetic shielding applications and allows a cable to be shielded against EMI. For these shielding applications, Lebronze alloys is able to supply this product in the form of fine wires, which can be braided around the body of the cable.

UC500 alloy with very high conductivity

Many sectors use cables requiring high electrical performance. With its high mechanical properties, resistance to high temperatures and high conductivity, UC500 meets these requirements perfectly. This alloy also offers a more environmentally friendly alternative to Copper-Cadmium, which is typically used in these applications.

UC500 alloy for medical applications

In medical applications, cables and electrical connections are subject to high mechanical and thermal stress. Their temperature can rise up to 300°C. An elongation of at least 6% and high mechanical strength are necessary for the manufacture of strong and reliable cables: our UC500 alloy meets all these requirements and has a very good conductivity.
